India Groundnut Output Reaches Record 11.9 Million Tonnes
India's groundnut harvest swung from 7.9 million tonnes in 2005 down to 4.5 million in 2012, before rebounding to 9.4 million a year later. Output then crossed 10 million in 2022 and set a new peak of 11.9 million tonnes in 2024, up 17% from 2023.
