Child Anaemia in India Reversed a Decade of Progress

Child anaemia in India fell from 69.5% in 2005 to 58.4% by 2015, then rebounded to 67.1% by 2021, erasing a decade of progress. By 2021 most affected children were moderately anaemic at 36% or mildly at 29%, with severe anaemia in about 2% of young children.
